M65 EpiDeath® ELISA (Prod. No. 10040)
The M65 EpiDeath ELISA is the next generation of PEVIVA's cell death detection assys.
It is intended for the quantitative detection of keratin 18 (K18) present in cell culture supernatants,
human serum, human plasma or other body fluids after it has been released from dying cells into the extracellular compartment.
It allows for the detection of epithelial cell death what ever the cause: total cell death.
The assays offers the opportunity to quantify total cell death (due to apoptosis and necrosis)
and is the cell death detection kit of choice for K18 positive (epithelial) cells, especially in mixed co-cultures
such as immune cells, stroma or endothelium (all K18-negative).
The M65® ELISA is capable of measuring the amount of Keratin 18 that is released from the dying cells of many cell cultures that are from the extracellular compartment. The M65® ELISA offers the opportunity to quantify total cell death of K18 positive cells.
The M65 EpiDeath® ELISA is the next generation of Peviva's biomarkers and is a modified version of the M65® ELISA and is intended for the samples with high Keratin 18 plasma and serum levels (e.g. sepsis, GvHD and liver toxicity such as DILI or ALF).
